This was a new experiment for me, trying to emulate a bakelite/resin piece that I had seen. It looked like the strawberry was made by covering a yellow core with a thin layer of red, and then carving out pieces to reveal the inside. I didn’t have any suitable carving tools, so I just attacked mine with a Dremel tool:
