CrafTEA Gift Shop

Called in at the “CraftTEA Gift Shop” (www.facebook.com/thecraftteagiftshop) in Worthing this morning to drop off my latest batch of designs. It was also a good chance to try out my new laser-cut display frame thingy, with handy hooks on it to hang the jewellery from:

Rob pointed out that the elephant pendant would look nicer with a smile on its little face, so I will try to make the next batch look more smiley…

Yay! My new business cards have arrived.

One of the first steps in the creation of my Craft Empire has been to have some business cards printed. Oh dear though – the flowers have been printed a lot darker than they were in my original design, so they all just look like big brown-ish blobs from a distance:

Gaaaaaah – I particularly liked those beads, as well! Just for the record, here is what the beads look like in real life:

Still, for the moment I would rather have a disappointing business card rather than no business card at all, so I just need to make sure I give lots away!

In the meantime, I’m looking forward to going to the AGM of the BPCG on 11 Sept 2010. Hopefully we can all get together and decide on holding another “Polydays” one day. It’s been so long since the last one and I absolutely LOVE Polydays. (It’s a weekend retreat in the UK where internationally-renowned polymer clay artists come and teach classes. Heaven.)
