Letter H Polymer Clay Alphabet Cane Tutorial

IMG_0573 - Edited

Here is another free step-by-step tutorial as part of a series of articles on making letter canes. Click here for a list of all of the other alphabet canes so far. (Or click here to go back to the letter ‘G’). One day I’ll develop full tutorials (with better photos – my camera seems to automatically focus on the background and not the cane!), but in the meantime, here are the Letter H polymer clay alphabet cane step-by-step instructions:

Step-by-step instructions: Letter H polymer clay alphabet cane tutorial

You will need:

  • Approx. 30g white polymer clay (i.e. half a standard-sized block of clay) ()
  • Approx. 8g black polymer clay (roughly an eighth of a standard block of clay) ()
  • Pasta machine ()
  • Tissue blade (a.k.a. polymer clay slicer blade) –

Step 0 – Condition the clays (i.e. roll them through the pasta machine until they become flexible sheets)

Step 1 – Cut off around a third of the white clay, and put it aside for later:
