I have been indulging in a massive polymer clay fest over the last few days, and have created so many beads that I need to get rid of some of the excess stock on ebay. For example I’ve put a wholesale batch of 100+ beads (listed here)…:

…plus I’ve made some bracelets:

Ok, so I’m a beginner so I could really use some no fail canes to start me out. My flaw: I don’t have a pasta machine so it takes time to roll everything out. Help?
Hi,
Because the black clay probably won’t roll out as thinly by hand as it does in a pasta machine, you will need to start with a larger piece of black to begin with. If you find that the black lines in the final version still look a bit thick, it may look better if you double up all of the amounts of clay (and therefore double the measurements as well) – e.g. use one and a half blocks of the coloured/yellow clay, and cut the black-covered cylinders into 8cm sections instead of 4cm sections etc. (…but still roll the black out as thinly as possible).
Have fun!
