This week over on my LaserSister website I’ve been doing some papercutting, and have framed a handmade wedding papercut. Despite having a laser cutter, sometimes the best way to do a papercutting is just to do it by hand (or rather, scalpel and scissors).

I’m really pleased with this one. I think all of the practice from my ongoing papercutting adventure is paying off.
While I was cutting I was also listening to an audiobook from Jay Kristoff’s Nevernight series. I can’t believe how many books I’ve ‘read’ this last couple of years, by switching over to audiobooks.
I also get to do another papercut this week, because my sister’s birthday is coming up, so I’m looking forward to creating another unique card.
This week I’ve also finished cutting over 120 Christmas decorations and have sent them off to the Amazon warehouse, ready for them to take care of the deliveries. I’ll be cutting a lot more Christmas decorations over the next few weeks rather than wedding papercuts or birthday cards, but I love cutting all of them – whether by laser or by hand. Hopefully I’m going to be busy!
In the meantime, if you’re looking for a papercut or Christmas decoration feel free to check out my shop pages ;)
